Food here is fantastic. Waitress was wonderful, answered all my questions, even put up with my indecisiveness on fries (both curly and straight are great, I preferred the FRESH cut straight ones) I had the double wimpy burger (pictured) and there was nothing wimpy about it. The ONLY thing I was not absolutely ecstatic about was their coleslaw. It wasn't bad, and is obvious homemade, but it was too mayonaisey for me, I generally prefer a bit more tang in my coleslaw, but if you prefer it more mayonaisey then you should DEFINITELY order their's. In other words, of you want an amazing diner style burger and fries.
Loved it, loved the coney. Excellent excellent sausage, and some of the best sauerkraut I've ever had. Fries were extremely fresh and hot, however were very soggy with no salt or seasoning that I could taste. The chili and cheese the went on the fries was adequate at best. I'm looking forward to trying a hamburger next time I'm in, and I absolutely plan to come back. Gotta get a hamburger, and have another delicious coney(separate trips because the coney is so big it'll fill you up with a side and drink)

I expected their chili dogs to be small, I was wrong! They are huge and sooo good! They use large beef franks and their homemade chili is excellent! I ordered 2 dogs and fries and I took 1 dog and half the fries home and I am one that always finishes my meal. I highly recommend this place
I love this place!! The atmosphere here is quiet and it is such a nice place for a nice dinner, breakfast or even lunch. I got the Philly cheese steak and fries, and it is my favorite. I will be back!
My husband and I stopped on our way through on Route 66. Awesome burgers! Crispy fries did not disappoint. Tracey was a fantastic server!!! Definitely a 5 star review from us!

We own the salon across the street so we end up at Stogey’s pretty often. After a long day on my feet, a Wimpy cheeseburger & fries is definitely my comfort meal. They have that *crisp* Coke with the good ice too! The restaurant is always clean and the servers are so sweet and attentive. I love supporting local businesses and Stogey’s will always be on that list! There’s a reason Stogey’s was voted Joplin’s most iconic restaurant!
